Kursi Mining Site
Wi-Fi Proposal

Managed Wi-Fi for occupied buildings and active work areas, connected through a three-sector outdoor point-to-multipoint backhaul.

Prepared for Kursi Investments
Prepared by Xnetwux Technology Limited
01 · Executive Summary

A managed site network from one base station

Indoor Wi-Fi for occupied buildings and 5 GHz point-to-multipoint backhaul for separated work areas. The base station is on the mast outside Admin. An edge router manages WAN links, routing, firewall security and bandwidth policy.

Coverage commitment: 100% means agreed occupied rooms and active points are surveyed and acceptance-tested, not blanket coverage of the 40 km × 40 km property or underground workings.

02 · Xnetwux Company Profile

Design, deployment and handover

Capabilities

  • Indoor AP and outdoor coverage planning
  • 5 GHz PtMP links
  • Routing, firewall, DHCP, segmentation and bandwidth policies
  • Structured cabling, PoE, labeling and testing
  • Commissioning, documentation and training

Delivery method

  1. Validate map and survey onsite.
  2. Confirm buildings, access, power and radio paths.
  3. Bench-configure; install and test network.
  4. Handover diagrams, test results and briefing.

Management approach

Central software manages Wi-Fi and switches, a separate platform monitors radio links, and router configuration is managed independently. Restrict admin access and include configuration backups in handover.

03 · Technical Proposal

Network topology and outdoor backhaul

The edge router connects to the base-station 16-port PoE switch. It powers three sector radios and Admin Group A equipment. Receiving radios deliver connectivity to local switches and APs.

03 · Area Plans

Access-point concepts

Planning concepts only. AP positions are not measured heat maps; confirm room coverage and cable lengths onsite.

Admin: 27 indoor APs, two base outdoor APs, three receiving radios and three 8-port switches for B–H.
Residential: 20 indoor APs, five buildings, one receiver and four 8-port switches.
Warehouse: 15 indoor APs, one receiver, one 16-port and two 8-port switches.
Gallery, Pit, Crushing, Leaching: each has one receiver, one 4-port PoE switch, two indoor APs and one optional outdoor AP.
03 · Implementation

Four-week delivery plan

WEEK 1 · Site validation

Confirm AP positions, radio LOS, cable routes, power; approve design; bench configure available equipment.

WEEK 2 · Procurement

Procure approved equipment and materials.

WEEK 3 · Installation

Install base station, radios, switches, cabling and APs.

WEEK 4 · Configure & hand over

Configure router/Wi-Fi/radios; test coverage and throughput; document, train, hand over.

Deliverables

  1. Wi-Fi in agreed active areas and rooms
  2. Secured Wi-Fi system
  3. Improved connectivity, subject to upstream service
  4. Monitoring dashboard
  5. Automated bandwidth management

Acceptance and assumptions

Proposed target: at least −67 dBm and 25 dB SNR at 95% of agreed test points. RE1 is measured at 90 × 12 m; other dimensions are map estimates.
